Return Policy

1.      All returns (new or defective) must be accompanied by our return goods authorization, (RGA) which we will issue to you upon request.  When you call for an RGA, be sure to have your invoice number and date of purchase.

2.      Credit will be issued upon approval by our credit dept. (The RGA is NOT a Credit

Memo and does not automatically grant credit.)

3.   Special ordered parts are not returnable!

4.      Please be sure defective merchandise meets all manufacturers’ warrantee guidelines.

Also, the nature of the defect must be written on the RGA and the outside of the box.

5.      Any item returned after two (2) weeks will be subject to a 10% Re-stocking fee.

6.      No returns will be accepted after one (1) year.

7.      If it is the manufacturers’ policy to inspect defective merchandise, be prepared to wait for your credit.  We can not/will not issue credit without Manufacturer’s approval!

8.      All parts returned as new MUST be in original saleable condition or a 10% repackaging fee will be charged against your credit.

9.      All returns are processed as a credit towards future purchases.  NO CASH OR CHECK REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED!  ONLY CREDIT TOWARDS FUTURE PURCHASES AT R.E.W. WILL BE ISSUED!

  Special Order Policy

1.      Any part that is not a regular stocking number at the time of ordering is considered a special order. 

2.      Special orders are non-returnable.

3.      Special order requests must be confirmed in writing via fax or e-mail. If neither is available a storeowner or manager will be permitted to call in the special order.

4.      Special order part numbers should be researched by the customer or given to them by the manufacturer. Racer’s will look up parts on request, however we will not be responsible for any errors or costs involved in correcting an error.

5.      Special orders are billed at net “Jobber” price unless R.E.W. sales staff acknowledges a special discount at the time the order is placed.

6.      Customer will be billed for all freight, minimum billing, and handling charges that are incurred while obtaining your special order item. Racer’s does not charge any special ordering fees of it own, but we must pass along any fees from the manufactures. You may
also add your special order to our stocking orders to avoid addtional shipping charges! Check with your salesman for estimated shipping times.

7.      Racer’s cannot guarantee shipping times or dates! We will do our best to expedite all orders, but each manufacturer ships on its own schedule, which is out of our control.

8.      If an order is canceled the customer will be responsible for any and all charges incurred in the shipping and return process. If the order is canceled before it ships from the manufacturer there is usually no charge.

9.      Any account that refuses delivery of a special ordered item will be charged all shipping, handling and restocking charges incurred during the shipping and return process. Additionally, that account will be required to prepay in full for all future special orders.
